7th November 2010 - Training with Kancho Kanazawa (his last international course)

Fantastic day had by all, I would say they was probably 600 karate ka assembled in watford sports centre for a very inspiring training session. Lasting all day we covered fundemental hip rotation, worked on using angles to avoid and counter multiple attackers than finished off with kata "Gankaku Sho" which is part of the extended learning for Kanazawa Ryu (see Photo Gallery and Links).

Classes will commence in January 2010 and will be tailored to suit adults who may feel vulnerable in today's society, whether that be in the workplace or while out and about. On 26th September 2009 - Mike Burnand 7th Dan JKF taught a course on traditional Kumite techniques and foot work, following the course which was held at the Peter Paine sports centre in Boston. A senior Dan Grading was held where Sensei Mark Rands gained the Rank of 4th Dan and Gary Brandon Gained the rank of 3rd Dan.
